What is a team anyway?
“There is no single linear form in which team arrangements are shaped in the new economy. It actually seems that term teams is being used as a placeholder for an increasing variety of forms of collaborative work. A new, more adequate terminology is yet to be developed…if innovation and knowledge are the emerging new objects motives for work, what is this imply for teams? What are the emerging characteristics of innovation- and knowledge-driven teams? Can they be called teams any more?
